Interested in learning how to gentle a mustang? Looking to improve your groundwork skills? Want to learn about liberty training? Want to simply spend a few days shadowing Cat?
Come learn from Cat. Watch her working mustangs, work one of her horses, practice alongside her, or just spend hands-on time with one or more mustangs. It all depends on your goals. Participants should plan on arriving by 11:00am on Day One and working six or more hours each day–rain or shine. Participants are encouraged to help with horse care to better understand barn management and get to know the mustangs that will be worked.
Longer stays are available. Email Cat with inquiries. Don’t delay as her calendar fills up quickly, especially in the winter months.
- HOUSING: Participants can stay at the Mustang Inn, our guest house located on the property or at a local hotel (Country Inn & Suites in Gainesville).
